Welcome to the show notes! Remember, this is a brief summary from the How to Market Your Horse Business podcast. You'll want to listen to the entire episode for all the good stuff!

What is influencer marketing? Is it it reserved for only those with a million followers, or can riders and trainers with a smaller yet loyal following work with brands and be considered an influencer?

I’ve got good news for equestrian entrepreneurs.

If you have an audience that trusts you, you could be an influencer in the horse world. Yep, it can be that simple!

Brands are realizing more and more that working with micro-influencers can give a better ROI than those “big-time” accounts with hundreds of thousands of followers.

What’s a micro-influencer? Generally speaking, it’s someone who has around 10,000 to 100,000 followers. The exact number fluctuates depending on who you ask, but here's what you need to understand:

If you’ve been around here long, you know about the importance of building a brand based on trust.

Regardless of your follower count, there are some things you need to know and do well to dive into the world of influencer marketing successfully.

In this episode, Megan Sullivan with Elevated Equestrian and The Social Equestrian shares what you need to know as an influencer in the equestrian world.
