Welcome to the show notes! Remember, this is a brief summary from the How to Market Your Horse Business podcast. You'll want to listen to the entire episode for all the good stuff!

How do you get your equine business found online?

That’s the million-dollar question for many equestrian entrepreneurs.

And, the answer is not as simple as you might hope.

First, you need to understand that you’re asking about SEO for your equine business (AKA search engine optimization).

Search engine optimization is essentially the process of optimizing your website to help your business to be found when someone is searching not just for your business name but for the products and services that you provide.

For example, if they search for riding lessons near me, and you are a facility that provides riding lessons, then you want to do as much as possible on your website to help you be at the top of those search results.

Same for photographers, or whatever service or product you’re providing in the equine industry.

Now, I always make sure to let my clients know there are people whose full-time job is search engine optimization. That's ALL they do for websites—they don't design, they don't write copy that converts visitors into customers. They are solely focused on helping businesses get found online.

However, I know enough to be dangerous. And I know enough to help get my clients on the right footing. As far as advanced strategies go, I leave that up to the experts.

That's why I'm so excited for today's guest, because as far as I'm concerned and the clients that I know that have used her services before, Krysta Paffrath is an expert when it comes to SEO.

Not only that, but she is in the world of horses, so she gets your business.

Heads up! If you need a very basic overview of SEO for your equestrian business, do these two things.

Now, for the insights and education from Krysta Paffrath!
